The vicious and deceptive terrorists are at it again, this time utilizing trained operatives in attempting to board flights in Oceania. They were repelled by alert TSA agents who recognized the dangers as they are trained to do, successfully aborting another plot to destroy the tranquility that the citizens of our great State enjoy.

Also the same old false allegations of sexual abuse have been rearing its ugly head again as well. This tired old refrain does not convince the true patriot of the issues at hand and will once again fall on deaf ears when it comes to choose…do you want security or not? The price for safety is never to high when it comes to the good of the State.

Due to the diligence of the admirable TSA protectors of the airways, two potential terrorists were stopped in their tracks from creating havoc among the peaceful citizens of Oceania.

In one case, a 17 year old, purported to be feigning pregnancy, attempted to gain entry with a replica gun which would no doubt have had the capability to be used to endanger the pilots of the airship. This brazen yet futile attempt to board was nipped in the bud by the ever vigilant TSA officers who risk their lives daily preventing crimes just like this one. We owe a debt of gratitude to them for fearlessly stopping this enemy of the state from boarding and will be honored at the next speech by Big Brother himself!

The next incident was even more clever and elaborate as it required several of the brave and selfless agents to tackle an 84 year old woman brandishing a deadly weapon in the form of a four-legged walker and struggled to strip her completely naked to assure that she was clean of any other weapons. The woman then self-inflicted a wound on her leg and falsely accused the TSA agents of causing her bodily harm, That she is not immediately interred is a tribute to the mercy and generosity of the TSA themselves.

This dedication to Big Brother cannot go unrewarded and we are required to donate 5% of our pay to the war effort toward the TSA so they can maintain the balance of peace that they protect on a daily basis. without these braves souls we would be living a life of fear and anxiety. Without them, life would be so much different. Our thanks to them and Big Brother for all they do and continue to do…

Yet another example of a TSA agent engaging in rampant criminality and believing themselves to be above the law emerged yesterday, when 52-year-old TSA worker Harold Glen Rodman allegedly approached a woman in full uniform before flashing his badge and proceeding to brutally rape and sodomize her.

“Police arrested Rodman on Nov. 20. He is charged with aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration, forcible sodomy and abduction with intent to defile,” reports ABC 7 News.

“Police said the victim reported that she and a friend were in the 10500 block of Winfield Loop in Manassas when the suspect approached them. The suspect flashed a badge and sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing on foot, police said.”

The Transportation Security Administration confirmed that Rodman worked for the agency but refused to say where or in what capacity.

As we have documented, this certainly not the first time a TSA agent has abused their position of authority to wantonly break the law.

Earlier this year, a TSA agent in Connecticut was charged with harassment after he posed as a cop by flashing his badge at a woman in an attempt to intimidate her into driving faster.

This is by no means restricted to two isolated incidents. Every week brings a new TSA horror story. Given the epidemic of harassment, criminality and abuse that TSA agents have been caught engaging in both on the job and off-duty, it’s not surprising that the rollout of an army of TSA agents to provide “security” at every level of American society, from train stations to bus terminals, from highways to high school proms, is stoking concerns that the federal agency is set to become the de facto “civilian national security force” that Barack Obama promised in his pre-election speech.

There’s a whole army of TSA workers who think that because they are given a shiny badge and a blue uniform that makes them above the law and allows them to engage in criminal acts and sexual deviancy. That they think they can get away with intimidating the public into following their every order, even to the point of sexual assault, underscores the mindset of a nation fast sinking into an authoritarian police state.

What kind of training must the feds be giving TSA agents to produce such a prolific streak of criminality and abuse of power? Or on the other hand is it more to do with the fact that sexual deviants and criminals are attracted to a job that allows them to fondle and abuse women and children?

Either way, such stories illustrate what an odious and reprehensible agency the TSA has become and why it should be completely abolished, especially considering the fact that these state-hired goons are now roaming bus terminals, train stations and highways. If you think you can avoid this by not flying, think again.

The fact that scandal and criminal behavior involving TSA agents continually gets swept under the carpet while the establishment media ignores the clear evidence that this is an epidemic of abuse illustrates the reality that the TSA is designed to be an occupying force whose primary role is to oppress and abuse the American people.

Expert: Parents should lose custody of obese kids

Dr. David Ludwig, an obesity specialist at Harvard-affiliated Children’s Hospital Boston, is arguing that parents should lose custody of obese children.

State intervention “ideally will support not just the child but the whole family, with the goal of reuniting child and family as soon as possible,” Ludwig told The Associated Press. “That may require instruction on parenting.”

Anonymous Could Unleash “Literally Explosive” Material on Bohemian Grove

Hacking collective targets secretive power brokers as part of “biggest day” in group’s history

The hackers’ collective Anonymous may have obtained “literally explosive” information concerning Bohemian Grove, an annual gathering of power brokers from the US and Europe set to meet this week in California, which many see as a nefarious avenue through which elitists secretly manipulate world affairs.

Bohemian Grove is a privately owned 2,700 acre compound in Monte Rio, California surrounded by giant old-growth redwood trees. Once a year it plays host to a bizarre confab attended by some of the most powerful people in the world, including many US politicians and government officials, during which participants embroil themselves in a heady mixture of plutocratic plotting and occult pagan ritual ceremonies.

The Anonymous hacking group, which has already announced its intention to occupy the entrance to the Bohemian Grove compound as a protest against the group’s secrecy, may also be about to leak a whole treasure trove of information about the organization as part of what has been dubbed “the biggest day in Anonymous’s history”.

As part of a series of hacks conducted to protest the treatment of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, to whom Anonymous has attached itself, the collective says it is about to unleash “literally explosive” material on a number of organizations, including the London Metropolitan Police and other agencies connected to the UK judicial system.

The hacks are timed to coincide with Assange’s appeal hearing against extradition, which begins today.

According to a report in the Guardian, one of the targets of the hacks could well be the Bohemian Grove club.

“Speculation centres around material claimed to have been obtained last week from contractors relating to security and secrecy of “former world leaders”, or plans to target a senior leaders’ retreat at Bohemian Grove, California,” write the Guardian’s James Ball and Charles Arthur.

Any such leak would be devastating for Bohemian Grove organizers, and could even disrupt activities at the encampment planned for the next fortnight.

Former Secretaries of State George Shultz and James Baker are set to give lakeside talks at the event this year, which begins Friday and runs for the next two weeks. But the details of what they say will not be covered by any media outlet, the meeting is secret and any uninvited guests are hastily dealt with by security guards and police.

Alex Jones made history in 2000 when he became the first journalist to capture on video the ‘creation of care’ ceremony, where Grove members dressed in Eyes Wide Shut-style hooded capes make a mock child sacrifice to Moloch, the pagan owl god, represented as a 50 foot statue carved out of a hollowed redwood tree.

Although Matt Oggero, the club’s general manager, told the Press Democrat this week that Bohemian Grove is merely “a group of guys out in the woods having a good time,” Presidents Nixon and Reagan both attended the elitist get-together before they captured the Oval Office. George W. Bush was also introduced to Grove power brokers in 1995 by his father five years before becoming President.

Nixon infamously later described the encampment as the “most faggy goddamned thing you could ever imagine,” perhaps in reference to the fact that male prostitutes and porn stars are routinely transported to the facility to “serve the moguls,” as the New York Post reported in 2004. Few women are allowed to work at the camp and those that do are prevented from accessing many areas of the site. Young men of high school and college age make up most of the temporary employees hired by Grove organizers.

Although the establishment media routinely claims the event is little more than a holiday camp, in 1942 it was the setting for the birthplace of the Manhattan Project, which led to the creation of the atomic bomb, a story often retold by Grove members who are proud of the fact that the most important scientific development of the 20th century was conceived there.

Los Zetas Kingpin: We Bought Guns Directly From U.S. Government

Revelation heightens supicions that Fast and Furious was an Obama administration plot to undermine Second Amendment

One of the kingpins of the infamous Los Zetas drug running gang has told Mexican federal police that the group purchased its weapons directly from U.S. government officials inside America, a revelation that will only serve to heighten suspicions that the Obama administration’s Operation Fast and Furious program was a deliberate attempt to undermine the Second Amendment by stealth.

Under Operation Fast and Furious, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives “Sanctioned the purchase of weapons in U.S. gun shops and tracked the smuggling route to the Mexican border. Reportedly, more than 2,500 firearms were sold to straw buyers who then handed off the weapons to gunrunners under the nose of ATF.” Some of the weapons were later used to kill US Border Patrol agents like Brian Terry.

However, according to the testimony of Rejón Aguilar, one of the original seven members of Los Zetas who was recently captured by police, in some cases Mexican drug gangs did not have to wait until the firearms reached the border – they purchased guns directly from the US government itself inside America.

In an interview with Mexican federal police that was later uploaded to You Tube and translated, Aguilar sensationally blows the whistle on how the Zetas’ weapons were obtained straight from U.S. federal authorities.

“They are bought in the U.S. The buyers (on the U.S. side of the border) have said in the past that sometimes they would acquire them from the U.S. Government itself,” Aguilar told police.

Some have questioned the legitimacy of efforts on behalf of the US government to catch drug smuggling kingpins in Mexico by way of sting operations involving firearms, the reason offered by the Obama administration as the motivation behind Fast and Furious, given the fact that those same kingpins are in many cases working for US intelligence itself.

As we reported years ago, former DEA agent Cele Castillo has blown the whistle on how the US government controls the Los Zetas drug smuggling gang and uses it as the front group for their narco-empire.

With the gang having first been trained at the infamous School of the Americas in Fort Benning, Georgia, Castillo affirms that Los Zetas are still working for the US government in protecting drug routes to keep the wheels of Wall Street well-oiled. Castillo has gone on the record to state that the commandos are working directly for the US government drug cartel in carrying out hits on rival drug smugglers who aren’t paying their cut.

In addition, it was recently revealed that Jesus Vicente Zambada Niebla, the “logistical coordinator” for another top Mexican drug-trafficking gang, Sinaloa, the organization responsible for purchasing the CIA torture jet that crashed with four tons on cocaine on board back in 2007, also obtained guns from the U.S. that were later used to kill people in Mexico City. Niebla recently told the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago that he has been working for the U.S. government since January 2004.

The Obama administration has repeatedly invoked rhetoric about the flow of guns being smuggled from the U.S. into Mexico as a talking point with which to chill gun rights of American citizens, repeating the demonstrably false myth that 90% of weapons confiscated by Mexican authorities originate in the U.S.

Despite the establishment media attempting to debunk the notion that Fast and Furious was a deliberate effort on behalf of Obama and his Attorney General Eric Holder to demonize gun rights by pointing to the flow of guns from the U.S. to Mexico, a process now revealed to have been largely overseen by the federal government itself, the fallout from the scandal, with no one in the administration willing to admit culpability, is starting to confirm precisely that premise.

Indeed, during a March 30 meeting between Jim and Sarah Brady and White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, at which Obama “dropped in,” the president reportedly told Brady, “I just want you to know that we are working on it (gun control)….We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.” The quote appeared in an April 11 Washington Post story about Obama’s gun control czar Steve Croley.

Given the fact that arrested Mexican drug runners are now admitting that they both worked directly for and bought weapons from the US government, the notion that Fast and Furious was an Obama administration plot to attack the second amendment by stealth is perfectly plausible.

Do not neglect your war bond duties along with the Corporate tithe that is owed so that corporations will be able to hire workers for the war effort.

Any reference to the alliance and obligations of the workers are to be heartily encouraged. Remember that Victory cigarettes and Victory gin also contribute to the war effort so mass consumption of these products are to be urged as well. It has been proven that a healthier and longer life are attributable to these supplements and that the fine rich Libyan soil will be used to grow even more tobacco.

Pentagon Asks Congress to Move Money to Pay For Bombardment of Libya

Before the Senate cancelled its vote on the war in Libya, having decided that it’s more important to focus on budget negotiations, Republican Richard Lugar of Indiana gave a 25-minute speech excoriating the Obama Administration. “Defining these actions as something less than hostilities requires extraordinary legal contortion,” he said. “The fact that we are leaving most of the shooting to other nations does not mean that the United States is not involved in acts of war.”

There’s ample evidence to support his position. To cite just one piece, American war planes have flown attack missions over Libya 801 times over the last 3 months, actually dropping ordinance on 132 separate occasions. That raises a question. Where’s all that military hardware coming from? How is it being paid for given that Congress hasn’t approved any funds for this conflict? On Wednesday, a little noticed story in Defense News offered some answers.

“The Pentagon is asking Congress if it can move more than $5 billion in previously allocated funding, including hundreds of millions of dollars to replace bombs dropped during operations in Libya — despite military leaders previously saying replacements would not be needed,” Kate Brannen reports. “This year, the Pentagon needs to replace equipment used in Operation Odyssey Dawn, what the Defense Department called operations in Libya before they were transferred to NATO. The cost includes $310 million to buy Tomahawk missiles, $38 million for Joint Direct Attack Munitions, $15 million for general-purpose bombs and $5 million for Hellfire missiles fired from Predator UAVs. The Pentagon also says it needs hundreds of thousands of dollars for cartridges, fuzes and flares.”

This information doesn’t change anything about the legal status of the war: as noted, we already possessed ample evidence that our military is engaged in hostilities. But rhetorically, it is now possible to demonstrate that reality — and the absurdity of Obama’s Orwellian denial of it — in exciting new ways.

I decided it might make for a good video since Libya is a main focus on this channel. (Sorry for the struggle with a few of the words, I tried…lol)

In response to a Department of Homeland Security warning to airlines that it believes terrorists want to bypass full body scanners and blow up commercial airliners by planting bombs inside humans, the TSA has indicated it will intensify security procedures across the nation’s airports.

“The Department of Homeland Security has identified a potential threat from terrorists who may be considering surgically implanting explosives or explosive components in humans to conduct terrorist attacks,” an advisory to foreign counterparts notes, according to an unnamed U.S. security official.

The advisory says that the DHS believes terrorists could inject a detonating chemical into themselves to trigger the so called “belly bombs”.

The memo also reportedly states “Our Government has information indicating doctors have offered to help extremists surgically implant explosive devices in humans and animals for terrorist attacks.”

Officials claim that full body scanners currently being used in airports would not penetrate deep enough to detect such devices.

The anonymous official stated that there is no intelligence pointing to a specific plot or that any attack was imminent.

The official also refused to reveal where the intelligence was discovered, however ABC news reports that government officials claim the idea originated with an Al Qaeda affiliated bomb maker:

“We do not think there would be enough to bring down a jetliner, but it is more likely the kind of bomb to be used in an assassination attempt,” said one person briefed on the warnings.

Homeland Security officials have revealed that the “belly bomb” is the invention of Ibrahim Asiri, a young Saudi native who packed explosives into the rectal cavity of his 23-year old brother Abdullah for a suicide missions targeting the head of Saudi intelligence, Prince bin Nayef. That bomb exploded prematurely, the officials said, and the only casualty was Asiri’s brother. Asiri is also credited with two other failed plots involving the bomb hidden in the underwear of a passenger on a Detroit-bound flight, and the bombs hidden in printers being shipped from Yemen to Chicago.

AP reports that in response to the DHS announcement, the TSA says that people traveling to the U.S. from overseas may experience additional screening at airports.

“These measures are designed to be unpredictable, so passengers should not expect to see the same activity at every international airport,” TSA spokesman Nick Kimball said. “Measures may include interaction with passengers, in addition to the use of other screening methods such as pat-downs and the use of enhanced tools and technologies.”

The alleged intelligence comes in the wake of recent reports that the next generation of body scanners to be rolled out in airports will literally be able to see inside the human body. Security personnel have been testing machines that use deep penetrating radiation, the same kind hospitals use to examine internal organs and bones.

Australian airports are set to begin using the devices should legislation before Federal Parliament be passed, enabling customs officers to use technology previously only operated by doctors in controlled conditions.

The current crop of naked body scanners being used by the TSA and other transport security personnel around the globe use either Millimeter-wave or BackScatter radiation. These devices render clothing and organic materials translucent, providing an image of what is concealed underneath, which is why they have caused such controversy.

The radiation fired from those scanners does not penetrate beyond the tissue under the skin, nevertheless there have been significant and legitimate fears expressed by experts and scientists over the safety of such devices, as far as both the operator and the traveler are concerned.

The force generated from tetrahertz waves used by the millimeter-wave scanners is small but, according to scientists, the waves can ‘unzip’ or tear apart double-stranded DNA, creating bubbles in the DNA that could interfere with processes such as gene expression and DNA replication.

Despite further warnings from scientists that the scanners will cause cancer in some travelers, it seems our governments are ready to push even further and use even more potentially lethal technology, under the guise of security.

Of course, there is a very good reason why internal X-ray scans are only legally permitted to be carried out by a doctor at a hospital or surgery – because they are extremely hazardous and can cause detrimental health effects to those exposed to them.

Radiography and Tomography scanners fire deep penetrating ionizing x-rays. The most recent studies estimated that CT scanners cause 29,000 cancers and kill nearly 15,000 Americans every year. Imagine how that number would balloon if such technology were installed in airports and used everyday on millions of healthy people, as if they were routine metal detectors.

Yet, there is every indication that this will be the case. In January 2010, following the failed underpants bombing, former European Commissioner for Justice, Freedom & Security, Franco Frattini, told the media that governments should consider scanning the insides of all travelers to make sure they are not concealing explosives or weapons. It now seems that what at the time seemed a stretch beyond the realms of sanity is actually happening before our eyes.

Recent security failures concerning the current crop of naked body scanners, many of which stem from human error, and the fact that the scanners are simply incapable of identifying some materials, will no doubt also be used as justification should the US and the UK follow the actions of the Australian authorities in attempting to beef security theatre in airports even further.

Of course, none of this matters to the scores of security contractors making fat profits from government contracts. The military industrial complex cares little if a few million people drop dead from cancer or pass on genetic defects. The only health worries they have concern their profit margins.

At the end of the day, however, the buck stops with the public on this. Overall apathy toward the roll-out of highly invasive and potentially dangerous naked body scanning machines in airports, has only paved the way for more excessive violations of our rights and our liberties.

As we have consistently highlighted, there are even more frightening scenarios down the road if we continue to ignore the open tyranny being implemented all around us. If the public willingly accepts naked imaging x-ray machines that will cause cancer and death, all in the name of security, what comes next?

The TSA is considering taser bracelets that can deliver electric shocks to anyone who steps out of line inside an airport or on a plane.

Passport control officers at airports are to be phased out as new biometric face scanning cameras are replacing them under UK border control measures that came into force last year. A global biometric facial scan database is the end goal of security authorities the world over.

Other proposals include placing the cameras in every seat on aircraft and installing software to try and automatically detect terrorists or other dangers caused by passengers.

Passive brain scanners that pick up brain waves in order to sense the behaviour of travelers have already been trialed in airports. The technology known as “MALINTENT” has been developed by the Department of Homeland Security under a project lovingly called “Project Hostile Intent”. We are also being incrementally taught that what goes on in the airports will be transferred to the streets, schools, shopping malls, rail stations and bus terminals.

The very body scanners we see being implemented within airports now have already been extensively trialed and are now being in railway stations in major cities.

Recent reports also indicate full body scanners will be used at events during the upcoming 2012 Olympics in London.

The same technology is being considered by governments for general use in cameras on the street. Once accepted as part of everyday life in airports, it becomes much easier to sell for use in all public places.

The development of all of this nightmare technology only emphasizes the need for immediate outright rejection of the mass implementation of all forms of body screeners. If we continue to allow such gross attacks on our liberties to succeed, based purely on nondescript and vague government warnings, the onslaught will never end.

FDA unleashes end game scheme to outlaw virtually all dietary supplements formulated after 1994

In the wake of hundreds of dietary supplements recently being outlawed across the EU, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has quietly unleashed a regulatory scheme that, if fully implemented, could ban virtually all dietary supplements in the USA that were formulated after 1994.

That means nearly all superfoods, multivitamins, detox supplements, and medicinal herbal products we have all come to depend on to prevent disease and boost our immune health could soon be stripped from store shelves and outlawed across the nation. I call it the “End Game” of the FDA’s war against humanity: Phase one was the enforcement of nutritional ignorance by threatening and raiding companies that dared to make truthful health claims on their own websites (http://www.naturalnews.com/021791.html).

Phase two involves “nuking” the entire dietary supplements industry by simply denying the use of nearly all the ingredients presently used in supplement products.

On the front lines of health freedom

The discovery of this new End Game strategy by the FDA to outlaw virtually all dietary supplements comes to us from the Alliance for Natural Health, the leading health freedom non-profit group in America, and the group that consistently reports fact-based information on how the FDA and FTC are squashing health freedom in America. Their most recent announcement, entitled FDA’s New Sneak Attack on Supplements (http://www.anh-usa.org/fda-new-snea…) explains how this new assault on your freedom is being engineered by the FDA.

Here’s the brief story of where this comes from and how the FDA is now waging a new war on our vitamins, herbs and supplements:

In 1994, after years of armed raids, oppression and censorship by the FDA, Congress passed a law known as DSHEA. This is the law that essentially forced the FDA to stop regulating dietary supplements out of existence, and groups such as the Life Extension Foundation (www.LEF.org) were instrumental in helping get this law passed in 1994.

But one of the little-known sections of the law required dietary supplement manufacturers to “notify” the FDA any time they used a new ingredient in their formulations. However, the details on how supplement companies were supposed to abide by these notification guidelines (called “NDI” or New Dietary Ingredient rules) were never published by the FDA, and since 1994, this entire section of DSHEA has remained essentially unenforced (or selectively enforced).

Now, suddenly, the FDA has decided it wants to enforce NDI, and its enforcement of this technicality would essentially amount to the FDA denying permission to use nearly all dietary supplement ingredients introduced since 1994. So last Friday, the FDA proposed its new rules on NDI — on the Friday before a long weekend, no less, which is a common tactic government uses when it wants to do something that nobody notices — and these new rules run the risk of being adopted as active regulations, threatening virtually the entire dietary supplement industry with an eventual shutdown.

Why did the FDA wait 17 years to take action on NDI rules? Believe it or not, this was mandated under the new Food Safety Bill (S.510 remember?) that Congress passed into law late last year without even reading the bill (http://www.naturalnews.com/030789_F…).

So now, the FDA has been forced into issuing these new guidelines, and it obviously is going to take every opportunity it can to destroy the nutritional supplements industry (and thereby protect the profits of Big Pharma).

FDA goes Fukushima on dietary supplements

Importantly, nearly all vitamin and supplement ingredients could soon be banned under the FDA’s new NDI rules because very few supplement ingredients can be conclusively shown to have been widely used BEFORE 1994. As the ANH points out, the FDA recently banned a common form of vitamin B6 by claiming the vitamin was a “drug” that was never “approved” for use in supplements (http://www.anh-usa.org/when-is-a-vi…).

The upshot of all this is that by issuing new guidelines on the NDI requirements, the FDA can now essentially disallow the use of virtually all supplement ingredients that exist in the market today. As ANH warns:

“We fear that they will use this power to ban any supplement innovation unless the supplement is turned into a drug and brought through the drug approval process. Since nobody can afford to pay for the new drug approval process if the substance is not patented, and supplements generally already exist in nature and cannot therefore be patented, to require full new drug approval is to ensure that there will be no new supplements. This should suit the drug industry very well and, based on past behavior, the FDA as well.”

Supplement companies would need to seek FDA approval for all their formulations

Through this clever trick with NDI rules, the FDA can now position itself as the gatekeeper for all supplement approvals. Far from merely being a requirement to “notify” the FDA of the use of new ingredients, NDI rules essentially subject supplements to approval from the FDA.

As the FDA has proven time and time again, it can simply refuse to approve anything used in natural products. Even today, the FDA refuses to approve walnuts for preventing heart disease, or vitamin C preventing scurvy. The FDA won’t even admit that vitamin D can prevent rickets! Imagine the difficulty of trying to get the FDA to approve cherry extracts, or Chinese medicine herbs, or glucosamine for that matter. Nearly all the top supplements you’ve come to enjoy and value over the last two and a half decades are now threatened with being utterly outlawed and stripped off the shelves.

The FDA, in other words, is now gearing up to gut the natural products industry, bankrupt vitamin retailers and enslave the American people in a system of failed chemical medicine where they now have zero options for natural nutritional therapies. This, of course, would cause chronic disease rates to explode across the nation, greatly enriching the pharmaceutical industry and cancer treatment centers, all of which must be cheering these proposed new rules as a great way to recruit new patients who can then be milked for profits.

But synthetic drugs need no notification approval!

Amazingly (or maybe not, if you know the FDA), the new NDI rules state that synthetic copies of natural molecules are exempted from any new reporting requirements. Thus, drug companies that commit biopiracy and steal molecules from nature then turn them into chemical drugs are exempted from this whole thing. But natural product companies offering safe, effective and full-spectrum nutrients made by Mother Nature are suddenly put out of business.

These rules are selectively applied, in other words, only to natural products, not synthetic chemicals. It is yet another monopolistic betrayal of the American people by the FDA, an agency that has consistently and maliciously taken every opportunity to protect the drug companies while destroying the natural products industry. (http://www.naturalnews.com/021952.html)

“In these proposed rules, the FDA has effectively created a de facto pre-market approval system” for nutritional supplements, says the ANH. And the FDA will, of course, routinely deny virtually all supplement ingredients from ever being approved. Because the FDA is already on the record with its position that there is no such thing as any vitamin, nutrient, herb or food that has any biological effect whatsoever that could prevent, cure or reverse any disease or health condition.

That’s the FDA’s official position! With that kind of distortion, it is impossible for this agency to ever recognize the innate ability of any natural ingredient to actually produce a health benefit.

That’s exactly what the FDA wants, of course: To put dietary supplement companies out of business, leaving the field open only to those pharma-chemical vitamin companies largely owned by the drug companies themselves. They use synthetic chemicals which are NOT subjected to these new FDA rules. Many of those synthetic vitamins are, in essence, poisons. Isn’t it interesting that the FDA says companies need no approval to use poisons in their formulations, but they need FDA permission to use natural substances that actually prevent disease?
